The SCS Parents’ Association works to benefit our students by linking the School and its families.
Throughout the year, the PA hosts many social events to bring parents together, as a Grade and as a full community. Additionally, it fundraises in support of the varied programs and activities that augment the SCS experience for our students.
A Message From The PA President
On behalf of the St. Clement’s School Parents’ Association, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning parents and families. I hope you all had a great summer, and are ready for the exciting year ahead!
Our Parents’ Association exists to enrich the experience of SCS students. We do this by building a strong school community and fundraising to support school initiatives. Throughout the year, we host a variety of events to bring the parents, students, and staff together. We hope you will attend as many of these as you can; each is an opportunity to get to know other members of the school community a little better.
In addition to attending these events, please consider volunteering! Many hands truly do make light work, and the more volunteers we have, the more fun it is for everyone involved. Whether you can contribute an hour, a day, or can commit to run an event, I promise you will enjoy yourself and want to come back for more. Spending time around other SCS parents is a lot of fun, and you’ll meet some really interesting people.
The PA will be communicating with you on a regular basis. Please take a few minutes to read enews each week and our occasional Edsby posts. Also, your Grade Parent Representatives will be keeping you up to date with all the information relevant to your child’s grade. If you ever have a question, reach out to me or any of the PA executive, convenors, or grade parents. You can find a full listing of our names on Edsby.
Finally, every SCS parent is a member of the Parents’ Association. Watch for the notices of meetings, and attend as many as you are able to.
I’m really looking forward to meeting and working with you throughout the coming year. Best wishes for a successful school year.

St. Clement’s School Parents’ Association President 2023 – 2024
The Parents’ Association organizes a wide variety of activities and events. This would not be possible without our volunteer organizers:
Volunteer Coordinator Co-Convenor
Candy Fung Yee Lo
The PA is always looking for volunteers. If you are interested in an Executive, Convenor, or Grade Parent role, please speak with Cherie Tam (Volunteer Coordinator), Kurt MacWilliam (President), or Betty Kneis (Past President).
Parent socials are an important way for SCS parents to meet and reconnect with other parents in their child’s grade. Please watch your inbox for emails from your Grade Parents. It is our intention that these popular events will continue to bring the parent community together and provide SCS parents with the opportunity to get to know each other a little bit better!
If you are not sure you can make a commitment for a specific activity but are willing to volunteer for an hour or two occasionally, please contact the Parents’ Association Volunteer Coordinator, Cherie Tam. Volunteers may be called upon to help at any Parents’ Association or school event.
LINCWell is a full school approach, designed to craft a school experience for each of our girls that is characterized by Learning, Individualization, Nurturing, Creativity, and Wellness.
Beyond the Classroom
With opportunities to get involved in clubs, trips, and volunteering in the community, learning doesn’t stop at the classroom doors.
Our commitment to excellence in learning means being in tune with the world around us, and always looking ahead.
